Rosmah’s lead lawyer down with Covid, hearing off today as accused, three others put under home quarantine

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 — The hearing for Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s application to recuse the High Court judge presiding in her RM7 million money laundering hit a snag today after her lead counsel tested positive for Covid-19.

Azrul asked the judge to vacate today’s hearing, seeing as both Rosmah and her lead counsel Datuk Geethan Ram Vincent have been put under Home Surveillance Order , which will expire tomorrow and January 26 respectively. However, Mohamed Zaini adjourned today’s hearing to February 3. He also reminded the lawyers in court that he will not tolerate future adjournments.

Checked auntie into Sg Buloh first, let her wait inside there pending the court hearing, appeal, and what-nots. That way, guaranteed everything will no longer be delayed.

Believe that KKMPutrajaya must check the team of lawyers as probably not following SOP as always gets infected by Covid19 Great excuse during this endemic time. AGCPutrajaya needs to be more ruthless & make sure that this will be not an excuse in future. SPRMMalaysia

Wow...and they still let her quarantine and stay at home? Why don't lock them somewhere during quarantine?

Reminds me of kid’s tale “The boy who cries wolf”

Covid is a convenient excuse in these times, for the rich and powerful.

This is all drama!!!
