RM70 million funding to help reduce dependence on foreign labour

THE Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board is providing RM70 million to fund several strategic programmes to assist companies in the construction industry affected by the enforcement of the movement control order . Works Minister Fadillah Yusof said the funding was also provided to support the country’s policy in enhancing the use of technology, while reducing dependence on foreign workers by providing jobs for local.
