RM654 million for Socso workers’ rehab centre in Perak

Human Resources Minister M. Saravanan says Socso’s RM654 million National Neuro-Robotics and Cybernics Centre in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh is expected to be completed in end-2024. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 11, 2022.

“The construction of this second rehabilitation centre is an initiative of the Human Resources Ministry, through Socso, to provide better quality recovery and rehabilitation services to employees, besides helping to expand these services to the public, especially in the northern zone. In addition, he said, the health complex would also serve as a sophisticated centre of excellence for the rehabilitation and return to work programme, not only locally but also at the Southeast Asian and global level.
