RM500 cash contribution for 2 million EPF members

Finance Minister Anwar Ibrahim says two million Employees Provident Fund members aged 40 to 54 with savings of less than RM10,000 in their Account 1 will receive an RM500 contribution from the government. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 24, 2023.

THE government will contribute RM500 directly into the accounts of about two million Employees Provident Fund members, said Anwar Ibrahim. The finance minister said those who will benefit from this contribution are EPF members aged 40 to 54 with savings of less than RM10,000 in their Account 1.
