ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Federal government has been urged to review the new criteria for the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme.

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said that he had brought the matter up to the attention of Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz during the latter's two-day visit here.

"MM2H programme is one of Johor's strengths. The new criteria announced by the Federal government for MM2H has greatly affected the state. "We hope that the Federal Government would not only review the programme, but also implement it soon, or come out with a decision soon," he said. On Friday , Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar said that he would personally take up the matter of the new criteria for the MM2H programme with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.
