Experts hope Sirim certification will not affect face mask pricesKUALA LUMPUR: The MS SIRIM certification and marking from SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd for non-medical face masks will hopefully not affect the price of the product in the market. The brand that I buy has ASTM 3 & ISO 13485. Perhaps this is why it is more expensive than others. ISO 13485 is also the same std used by SIRIM. Having said that, masks that conform to other high standards should be allowed to be sold as well. Who the fuck is SIRIM? They aren’t even international standards, even the machines they use to certify standards are long obsolete Vaccinated people have cost this country billions in healthcare and the costs continue to rise.
