Reject Mohamaddin, Warisan over latest gaffe on Covid-19, say PCS

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Cinta Sabah has urged voters to reject Warisan’s Segama candidate Mohamaddin Ketapi after the former minister claimed that the opposition will use the Covid-19 pandemic to frighten voters from casting their ballots on Sept 26.

The party’s Youth chief, Ag Zakariah Ibrahim, said if the former tourism, arts and culture minister won, he would be a “big liability to Sabahans”. “How many times must he make a fool of himself? The people must reject this kind of character and his party, Warisan,” he said in a statement. Mohamaddin, in a video that has since gone viral, claimed that Warisan’s opponents would pay people to “faint” at polling stations after supposedly contracting Covid-19.Warisan’s Segama candidate Mohamaddin Ketapi has claimed that Warisan’s rivals will pay people to ‘faint’ at polling stations.
