As reported by GizChina, tipster Smart Pikachu took to Weibo to claim that the Note 13 Turbo will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Redmi is known to use the “Turbo” branding in its past smartphones, usually to showcase some top-of-the-line features such as a faster processor or fast charging.
Well, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 would definitely fit the turbo moniker, with Qualcomm expected to announce the SoC alongside the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 at an event on 18 March. An upgraded version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is expected to be a step up from the current flagship. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.
