Redmi 10C is Xiaomi Malaysia's new budget smartphone featuring a large 6.71' display, Snapdragon 680, 50MP main camera and 5,000mAh battery. It's priced from RM559.

. It is also available at all authorised Xiaomi stores throughout Malaysia. The Redmi 10C is offered in three colours – Graphite Grey, Ocean Blue and Mint Green.The Redmi 10C features a large 6.71″ DotDrop display which pushes an HD+ resolution of 1650×720 pixels and it supports Netflix HD and Amazon Prime HD video streaming playback in HD. For screen durability, it also gets Corning Gorilla Glass for the front.

Under the hood, it runs on a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that’s paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. If you need more storage, it supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB. While the massive camera bump seems to tease a quad-camera bump, don’t be fooled. The Redmi 10C actually gets a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP depth camera for bokeh effects. As shown above, the bump also gets a prominent “Redmi” branding and it also houses the rear fingerprint scanner on the bottom right corner.

In terms of connectivity, this is a dual-SIM device that supports 4G LTE. It also supports 802.11ac WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and it still retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s only a single speaker which Xiaomi claims to provide 40% higher volume than theOverall, the Redmi 10C is an interesting budget offering but the major downside is the display which does HD+ resolution.
