Recoveries from Covid-19 outstrip new infections

For the first time in months, the number of Covid-19 recoveries are higher than the infection figures. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 8, 2021.

TODAY’S 6,962 recoveries from Covid-19 are higher than the 5,566 new infections reported in the same period. With this, the cumulative total of recoveries is now 541,319, out of a national caseload of 627,652, said Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
