realme 12 5G Malaysia release - up to 8GB + 512GB, starting price at RM1099

Today, realme Malaysia has announced the launch of the realme 12 5G. Available in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green, the phone has two memory variants - 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB for RM1099 and RM1299, respectively.

Should you choose to purchase this phone during the promotion period , you get to redeem gifts that are worth up to RM399. The bundled gift includes a pair of Techlife Wireless Earbuds, a 1-year Extended Warranty and a 30-day 1-to-1 Replacement Guarantee. As usual, the realme 12 5G can be officially found at every realme Brand Store, Authorised Dealer, as well as online stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok.

To recap the tech specs, the realme 12 5G features a Dimensity 6100+ 5G chip, a 108MP primary camera with ultra-focal length from 3x lossless zoom up to 20x zoom, a Dynamic RAM that adds a total RAM of up to 16GB, a 6.72-inch 120Hz display, a 5000mAh battery with 45W flash charging, and an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.

Additionally, it also has a new Dynamic Button that functions exactly like the iPhone 15 Pro's Action Button to access various functions and some third-party apps. Lastly, realme 12 5G is running on realme UI 5.0 which includes the Mini Capsule 2.0 that shows information from music, weather, events and step counts.
