KOTA BHARU: Aidilfitri leave of 14,000 Kelantan health department staff has been frozen as Covid-19 infections have been at three-digit levels in the past fortnight. “We need all hands on deck at the moment to ensure patients receive treatment,” said the state director of health, Dr Zaini Hussin, after a visit to a quarantine centre at Universiti Sains Malaysia’s medical campus in Kubang Kerian.The USM quarantine centre is able to treat 500 male patients and will receive 150 patients today, said Dr Zaini.
