The Penang Deputy Chief Minister claimed that certain parties were trying to link him to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam in a bid to silence him.“Why are they only connecting me to the LTTE because of my role as a peacemaker in Sri Lanka when I have also served as a friend of Islam in Acheh and Mindanao, ” he told reporters after giving a statement at Bukit Aman yesterday.
“Do not vilify the non-Muslims. Do not incite racially-charged issues and do not question our loyalty to our country. Explaining his role in Sri Lanka, he said he was part of a Constitutional Affairs Committee which was mediated by Norway. Ramasamy said police spent more than three hours quizzing him on two articles published by online news portals recently.
Not actually silencing you, it’s a move against terrorism. If you are apart of it, yes you need to face the law. Imho, It’s a treason to get involved in any kind of terrorist organisation. But if you’re not apart of any kind of terrorist act or organisation,stop worrying.
