GEORGE TOWN, April 26 — Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow today said non-profit organisations in the state only need to pay a nominal sum of RM1 in quit rent.

“For these lands, non-profit organisations will be given automatic deduction of quit rent if the lands were not used for profit orientated activities,” he told a news conference in his office here.
