Is it true that a foreigner was caught on camera performing a dangerous 'trick' with his motorcycle?

According to a statement by the Kluang District police, a Pakistani man had been detained after a video of him performing a wheelie with his motorcycle on a public road had gone viral.

"On April 5 at approximately 6.45pm, we detained a 22-year-old Pakistani man at Taman Majupadu in Kluang," said Kluang OCPD ACP Bahrin Mohd Noh in the statement, adding that the police had also seized a motorcycle. ACP Bahrin said that police first became aware of the incident after a 23-second video of the man performing a wheelie on Jalan Kota Tinggi-Kluang that was uploaded on to Facebook was brought to their attention.

"The man was issued a summons for riding a motorcycle with no driver's license, no insurance cover as well expired road tax. "He was also detained under Section 42 of the Transportation Act 1987 where he could face five years jail and a fine of no less than RM5,000 if found guilty," said ACP Bahrin.
