KUALA LUMPUR: The state of shoebox rooms being rented out at a shoplot in Taman Maluri, Cheras, was shocking, even for the seasoned enforcement officers.The four-storey building, with its ground floor serving as a shop, had three upper levels partitioned into 78 shoebox rooms.

THERE is an increasing number of ways people try to lure unassuming social media users to scam them of money, or to drum up business by misrepresentation.

Is a social media page misusing the Tabung Haji logo while sharing posts on trips to Mecca?In a statement released by Lembaga Tabung Haji on Thursday , the board cautioned that its logo has been misused on social media."The Facebook page named 'Thijari Tabung' is not under the management of TH."The public is advised to always be wary of pages on social media that use the TH logo," it said.
