DRIVERS have long been told to be wary of oily patches on the road as driving over one risks having your vehicle lose traction and skid off the road.
On Tuesday , a video went viral on social media showing a tanker lorry gushing an oily liquid onto the Karak Highway, near Gombak. Is this true?Gombak OCPD Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad confirmed an accident occurred involving a tanker truck carrying a load of used cooking oil on the Karak Highway.
"Our investigation found that the incident happened at about 2pm involving a tanker driven by a local man in his 50s," said ACP Noor Ariffin, adding that the tanker was on its way from Kuantan to Port Klang.
