Her Majesty's visit was in conjunction with the installation ceremony of her husband Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
During Her Majesty's arrival, the national anthem was played by the Royal Malay Regiment band before she signed the hospital's visitors book. In his welcoming speech, Dr Dzulkelfly said since the inception of the rehabilitation services in 1996 as a pilot project in Kuala Lumpur, the ministry had extended such initiatives to 69 hospitals under its purview to provide similar rehabilitation services.
