Putrajaya, KL mosques to shelter flood victims

The Klang Valley has been hit by floods, which have forced 15,000 people to be evacuated to more than 100 flood relief centres so far. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 19, 2021.

PUTRAJAYA and Kuala Lumpur mosques, including the Federal Territory Mosque and Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, have been turned into temporary accommodation for flood victims. Religious Affairs Minister Idris Ahmad said he has instructed the Malaysian Islamic Development Department and Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department to coordinate the matter.
