Menerusi kenyataan yang dikeluarkan di dalam laman webnya, Astro memaklumkan kakitangan itu disahkan positif semalam dan sedang menerima rawatan di sebuah hospital kerajaan.“Kami sedang mengenal pasti siapa yang menjadi kontak rapat kakitangan terbabit. Sebagai langkah pencegahan, pusat penyiaran di Bukit Jalil ditutup sepenuhnya untuk sanitasi menyeluruh,” katanya.
Menurutnya, penutupan itu tidak akan memberi kesan kepada program penyiaran syarikat berkenaan dan kakitangan dibahagikan kepada beberapa pecahan dengan sebahagian besarnya akan bekerja dari rumah.
