‘Pulau’ is a horror film, not porn, says censorship board

The movie “Pulau”, whose trailer became controversial this week for allegedly being obscene, is a horror film and not a pornographic movie, the Film Censorship Board said.

The board also found that the trailer uploaded on social media that garnered public attention was not the same as the film submitted for censorship. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
