Proton has announced an 18% year-on-year sales growth in November 2020 and it aims to finish the year strong despite the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the newly launched X50 is claimed to be the best selling B-segment SUV in Malaysia.
For the month of November, Proton has sold a total of 11,411 vehicles which includes both domestic and export. The national carmaker has sold a total of 96,410 units so far in 2020 and it is expected to beat 2019’s full year performance which . This is partly driven by the sales tax exemption under PENJANA.
