Muslim scholar Yusuf al-Qaradawi says mosques around the world should suspend all congregationary prayers to halt the spread of Covid-19.
Qatar-based Al Jazeera’s Arabic language channel reported that the call was made through the International Union of Muslim Scholars which Qaradawi heads. Perlis called off Friday prayers statewide two days ago, while in Singapore, authorities imposed a two-week freeze on all mosque activities pending disinfection.
Finally......someone can understand the severity of the coronavirus & making a bold statement! Hope it’s not too late!
