Projek Bornean Elephant Grass Planting tepati komitmen SSB terhadap alam sekitar

TAWAU: Pelaksanaan projek ‘Bornean Elephant Grass Planting’ dengan peruntukan RM451, 181 di ladang Brumas Sabah Softwood Berhad dilihat amat bersesuaian dengan komitmen syarikat itu yang sememangnya menitikberatkan kelestarian alam sekitar.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif SSB, Datuk Mohd Daud Tampokong berkata, projek perintis tersebut akan dilaksanakan selama dua tahun, bermula tahun ini oleh empat ahli akademik daripada Universiti Putra Malaysia yang dibiayai menerusi peruntukkan pihak Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation .
