Liew berkata program MM2H Sabah hanya terpakai di Sabah dan pemohon tidak dibenarkan menggunakan permit dalam program ini untuk bekerja di Malaysia. “Kami juga akan memastikan tiada penyewaan permit ini. Satu jawatankuasa akan memantau perkara ini,“ katanya dalam sidang media selepas melancarkan program itu di sini hari ini.
Terdahulu dalam ucapannya, Liew berkata program Sabah-MM2H bukan sahaja kaedah untuk menarik individu menjadikan Sabah sebagai rumah kedua mereka tetapi juga sebagai pemangkin pertukaran budaya, daya hidup ekonomi dan pembangunan mampan dalam masyarakat.
