Prof Massila started her career at UTeM in 2004 as a tutor at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
UTeM, in a statement on Monday , said Prof Massila possesses aspirations and strategies to inject positive change in the administrative and management landscape of the university as well as strengthen the aspects of institutional and academic development. She later obtained her Masters in software technology from the University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom and subsequently obtained a doctorate in electrical and electronics engineering in 2011 from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
