According to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, the police had submitted the investigation papers on Sept 22 last year to the Attorney General’s Chambers .“The AGC ordered phone data and laptops obtained by the Communications and Multimedia Commission to be submitted to CyberSecurity Malaysia for a second opinion,” Azalina said in a written reply on Tuesday .
“The case items were submitted to CyberSecurity Malaysia on Feb 5 and the investigating officer contacted the CyberSecurity officer. An appointment was set on Feb 10,” added Azalina. According to Azalina, the chief registrar’s office lodged a police report over the alleged leak of the written judgement on Aug 23 last year.
The alleged leaked documents were initially posted by rogue blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin on portal Malaysia-Today.In September last year, Rosmah was found guilty by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on all three counts of corruption over the solar energy project.Najib is currently serving a 12-year jail sentence after the Federal Court upheld the former premier’s conviction and sentence in the SRC International case in August last year.
