Private sector urged to join GLCs to raise funds for Covid-19 frontline

Of the total amount, RM17 million will go towards purchasing medical supplies, personal protective equipment and ventilators for the Health Ministry. – EPA pic, March 23, 2020.

RM40 million collected by several government-linked companies and private sector entities is being used to buy medical supplies and equipment in the country’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The funds were pooled by the GLC Disaster Response Network comprising GLCs, government-linked investment companies and other partners.
