PETALING JAYA: All private kindergartens registered under the Education Ministry will receive a one-off grant of RM5,000, whie those that are not registered will get RM3,000 if they register by October, says the ministry.

PETALING JAYA: All private kindergartens registered under the Education Ministry will receive a one-off grant of RM5,000, while those that are not registered will get RM3,000 if they register by October, says the ministry.

This comes under the National Economic Recovery Plan to reduce the financial burden of private kindergartens in reopening their businesses after the movement control order, the ministry added. The Penjana stimulus is worth RM35bil, and is aimed at empowering people and businesses, as well as stimulating the economy."This is provided they register by Oct 31,2019.

“We are confident the grant provided by the government will help private kindergarten owners continue their educational agenda and, simultaneously, encourage them to register under the ministry, ” it said in a statement on Tuesday .
