Private hospitals begin Covid-19 vaccination

Several private hospitals started giving Covid-19 vaccinations today under phase two of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 7, 2021.

SEVERAL private hospitals started administering Covid-19 vaccines to the public today following the government’s decision to allow these premises to be used as vaccination centres in phases two and three of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. In Penang, three private hospitals – Pantai Hospital Penang , Lam Wah Ee Hospital and KPJ Penang – began vaccinating people today, with a daily target of 500 recipients a day.
