Bernama reported that 20 schools in Penang have been ordered close for two days starting yesterday due to Covid-19 cases.

SMJK Jit Sin PTA chairman Yap Kim Gui said schools should close even if there was just a single positive case. “Parents also have to inform us if their children come into contact with Covid-19-positive individuals, ” he said.
