KUALA LUMPUR: PPBM may amend its constitution to allow non-Malays to hold leadership positions, its president Muhyiddin Yassin said. Addressing the Kongres Negara 2020, Muhyiddin said a proposal on this will be drafted and if accepted, an extraordinary general meeting will be called to amend the party constitution.
Presently, the party allows non-Malays to join the party as associate members who cannot hold leadership positions.
