Beliau turut mengucapkan penghargaan kepada jentera parti yang bekerja keras sepanjang tempoh berkempen PRK berkenaan.Kelmarin, calon Barisan Nasional Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng berjaya merampas kembali kerusi Parlimen itu dengan memperoleh 25,466 undi, sekali gus mengalahkan calon PH Karmaine Sardini yang memperoleh 10,380 undi.
Calon Gerakan Wendy Subramaniam memperoleh 1,707 undi; Datuk Dr Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz memperoleh 850 undi , sementara dua calon BEBAS Dr Ang Chuan Lock dan Faridah Aryani Abdul Ghaffar .
