Portuguese man o’ war spotted at 4 Terengganu beaches

The Portuguese man o’ war, feared for its potentially fatal sting, has now been spotted on four beaches in Terengganu. – Flickr pic, February 22, 2020.

AFTER Pulau Kekabu Beach in Marang, three more beaches in Terengganu have reported sightings of the Portuguese man o’ war jellyfish, which can deliver a potentially fatal sting. Terengganu Fisheries Department director Zawawi Ali said the three other beaches were Batu Buruk Beach, Kuala Terengganu and Rhu 10 Beach in Setiu, and Bukit Keluang Beach in Besut.
