Polis serah siasatan pesawat terhempas di Sungkai kepada CAAM

: Polis menyerahkan siasatan berhubung kejadian pesawat Cessna 172N Skyhawk dengan nombor pendaftaran 9M-ADA terhempas berhampiran Felda Gunung Besout, Sungkai, semalam kepada Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam Malaysia .

Ketua Polis Daerah Muallim Supt Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir berkata setakat ini pihak Biro Siasatan Kemalangan Udara di bawah Kementerian Pengangkutan masih melakukan siasatan di lokasi kejadian.“Bangkai pesawat masih berada di lokasi dan kerja pengalihan keluar akan diuruskan oleh Layang Layang Flying Academy,“ katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata kedua-dua mangsa iaitu jurulatih penerbangan Kapten Shahrul Imran Surea, 26, dan pelatih Ho Jia Lee, 20, telah dipindahkan dari Hospital Slim River ke hospital swasta. Menurutnya Shahrul Imran telah dimasukkan ke sebuah pusat perubatan di ibu negara dan akan menjalani pembedahan pada paha kanan manakala Ho dipindahkan ke hospital swasta di sini.

Pesawat kendalian Layang Layang Flying Academy membawa dua orang yang terselamat dalam kejadian itu, berlepas dari Lapangan Terbang Sultan Azlan Shah, di sini pada 7.54 pagi, dan Pusat Kawalan Trafik Udara Kuala Lumpur menerima transmisi maklumat terakhir dari pesawat itu semasa ia berada di Slim River pada 9.35 pagi.
