Sementara itu, Jauteh berkata dalam tempoh yang sama jumlah kes jenayah di Sabah meningkat 23.34 peratus iaitu 782 kes berbanding 634 kes dalam tempoh sama tahun lepas.
“Kalau tutup atau tidak buat siasatan sudah tentu kita tidak mengetahui pattern dan taburan jenayah yang berlaku di Sabah ini dengan terperinci. Dengan cara ini strategi lebih berkesan dapat dilaksanakan dalam mencegah jenayah,” katanya.
