PETALING JAYA: Police believe that the petrol bomb attack on the KK Mart outlet in Sungai Isap here last Saturday was carried out by a lone individual.

Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu said this conclusion was drawn after analysing multiple closed-circuit television camera recordings around the area, Bernama reported.“Efforts to track down the suspect are under way, and we will also examine other CCTV footage to assist in the investigation into the incident,” he was quoted as saying.

Wan Zahari called on those with information regarding the case to step forward and assist in the investigation under Section 435 of the Penal Code. The attack in Kuantan marked the second such incident following a petrol bomb attack on a KK Mart outlet in Bidor, Perak, on March 26.
