Police to speak to car club about emergency lane photos

Nilai police warn people not to stop in the emergency lane of a highway after pictures emerged online of a car club gathered on both sides of the Temiang-Pantai Highway. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 24, 2022.

POLICE have said they will in due course take statements from a group of individuals after pictures of them gathered together in the emergency lane of the Temiang-Pantai Highway went viral on social media yesterday. Nilai police chief Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the group – understood to be members of the FCCM-FC Club Malaysia – were spotted stopping their cars at the side of the highway on Saturday to take pictures.
