COMMENT | ‘These are not hardened criminals. Most are confused about the situation.’

COMMENT | Yes, most of us understand the frustration of the police when people keep travelling without reason, increasing the probability of getting and passing Covid-19 infections from and to others.

These are not hardened criminals that the police are dealing with. Most of them are very ordinary people confused about the situation and trying to cope as best as they can. Most of them have not had to deal with such movement restrictions in their lifetime. If you lock them up together in police cells all over the country, which are notorious for their crowding and their lack of hygiene, sometimes for days at a time, it is inevitable that if just one of them is a carrier all the others are going to get Covid-19 as well.

I think they should put those caught violating MCO on community services as volunteers for the frontliners. They obviously have the ‘guts’ for it.

malaysian had considerate enforcers so far: if compared to india and china

Fuck that! Lock them up... if they are not part of the solution, they are part of the problem.

No.

Shut up

Perikatan Nasional Malay-Islamofascist and their running dogs who got appointed as PM and Ministers by the Agong should lock up Corvid-19 virus. Why are they locking up the victims instead of the killer?

Another stupid article...

Go easy on violators?, if that the case then better just scrap the whole MCO idea.

Why the government don't put on fully lockdown in first place and only let certain time can come out buy food and grocery. So at least I know I am not MCO violators.

Yep yep! In this time government is busy and there probably won’t be much monitoring. But put a head in charge to draw the line on treatment towards these violators. Can’t be solely at the police discretion.

Bodo. Go easy? Kau ingat covid nak go easy dengan kau ke? Artikel bodo.

Which part of “Stay at Home” is confusing for these idiots? This is not some “becareful, water’s hot, don’t burn yourself” situation. This is a deadly virus that kills $h/tstorm situation right now. N if idiots is confused about that, let jail give them a sobering wake up call.
