Najib, meanwhile, chides the transport minister for failing to consult the police on security issues.

Putrajaya's new rule on tinted car windows will only make enforcement work more difficult, according to Bukit Aman traffic chief Azisman Alias.yesterday that he respects the government's decision, but nevertheless felt"slighted " because the police were not asked for their input on the ruling.

“Indeed, there are conditions such as fees and other requirements, like having a clean criminal record, but it’s also akin to a vehicle licence.Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak chided Loke on Twitter for not consulting the police on this matter. “The DAP minister did not consult the police before making a decision that involves security matters?Menteri DAP tak bincang dengan pihak polis sebelum membuat keputusan yang melibatkan isu keselamatan?

SitinoriahS Why police making this such a big Fuzzz... If criminals are using vans.. only drivers side is visible and no windows on passengers than how ?..

I don’t understand why you need 100% tinting. If you are vampires, paint the window black then!

What’s the big issue. Police can demand the occupants to wind down the windows to check

If crime have direct relate to tinted film thars means all.these while we are easy at work PDRM

I oppose the wearing of helmets sebab banyak kes ragut and rompak perpetrator-nya pakai helmet! But came on lah PH!! Rm5000!! You think Kami ada share kah 1MDB! Bagus cancel saja!

Very stupid idea to make 100% fully tinted glasses legal imo

Alasan bodoh...

About reducing heat, You don’t need ‘black’ tinted glass. There are clear tinted coating that reduces heat better than being black.

Instead of rasa terkilan with this no-brainer issue, this Najib Razak lackey should focus on stopping militant jihadi motorcyclists wearing crash helmets with fully tinted visors and tiny sized gold and yellow coloured number plates from terrorising other road users.

The rear windshields & passenger windows can be tinted darker to reduce the heat and sun rays in the vehicle. UVA and UVB rays may damage skin, eyes & cause skin cancers. Police can order them to roll down the passenger's windows when having a roadblock.

Not sure how vested parties managed to convince anthonyloke to this? One of the stupidest decision here.

Anyone intend to tinted his or her car must submit their application first. If approved by authoriry, he or she must pay RM5K before the tinted film fixed. No blanket approval for everyone to use black tinted freely. RM0K charged for medical reasons,

Transport minister listens to gangsters more than people &police.

Tajuk berita ‘oppose’ tapi bukit aman cakap ‘terkilan’ jauh beza

The plot, in addition to tinting darkness, thickens cherriecinta cchelmich EstherKana

The transport ministry should consult police. Police forces are the ones to fight crimes and ensure our safety! Imagine they are on the chase with criminals like robbers, etc. And worse, how many rude drivers I had seen got their cars fully tinted? Bad decision!
