Police investigate another death in custody

Police are probing the death of a 37-year-old detained for drug offences in the Pengkalan Chepa police station. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 17, 2022.

POLICE have reported another death in custody in Kota Baru, Kelantan, which comes days after another man died in a lockup in Taiping, Perak. Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department director Azri Ahmad said the death occurred at the Pengkalan Chepa police station at 4.35pm yesterday.
