Police detain man who snatched woman’s handbag after road accident

POLICE detained a man who allegedly snatched a handbag from another vehicle, which had crashed into his car at KM14.6 of the Federal Highway yesterday, to facilitate investigations.

Shah Alam district police chief Baharudin Mat Taib, in a statement today, said the suspect, 56, was arrested when he turned up to lodge an accident report at the district police headquarters at 6.30pm.
