NSTnation Selangor police arrested the 42-year-old mastermind of a drug distribution syndicate and seized drugs worth more than RM750,000.

The mastermind is among seven suspects nabbed in five separate operations beginning at a terrace house in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong on Wednesday night.

"Upon interrogation, one of them led the team to another house in Bandar Kinrara, where two more men were arrested with 151 grams syabu and Ecstasy pills," he said at the state police contingent. "In less than 24 hours, police managed to conduct the raids at separate locations, tracked down the syndicate mastermind and apprehended him and six others involved.

The suspects, aged between 14 and 44, have been remanded until April 22 to facilitate investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
