Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain said the female suspect was arrested after the incident took place at around 9am on Saturday .
“She tested positive for drugs and has been detained to assist with the investigation under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving resulting in death, ” he said. ACP Mohd Padzli added that the suspect would also be investigated under Section 15 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, he said.
On Saturday, a 31-year-old man died on the spot after a car rammed into his vehicle, which was stationary at a traffic light along the road. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to turn turtle and damaged another vehicle, whose driver was also hurt.
