PM urges teachers to get vaccinated against Covid

PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob says teachers should get vaccinated against Covid as a means to protect themselves and their pupils. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, October 17, 2021.

PRIME Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob today urged teachers who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 to do so immediately, to protect themselves and their pupils. He said although immunisation is not compulsory for teachers, they are at risk of causing infections to rise as they will face their pupils when physical classes begin.
