KUALA LUMPUR: Peletakan jawatan ahli Parlimen Permatang Pauh Nurul Izzah Anwar sebagai anggota Jawatankuasa Kira-kira Wang Negara belum dibincangkan oleh biro politik parti, kata naib presiden PKR, Dr Xavier Jayakumar hari ini.“Kita belum membincangkan apa-apa. Jika ia timbul untuk diambil keputusan pada peringkat biro politik, maka kita akan bincangkannya,” kata beliau kepada Bernama.
Ketika memaklumkan keputusannya di Twitter, Nurul Izzah berkata, “jawatan pengerusi PAC mesti diisi oleh wakil pembangkang bagi menjamin akauntibiliti eksekutif” – prinsip yang menjadi sebahagian daripada dasar penting PH. Nurul juga berkata, beliau akan terus mengingatkan speaker Dewan supaya meneruskan reformasi yang dijalankan bagi memastikan Parlimen berdiri sama tinggi dengan eksekutif.
Perdana Menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad dilaporkan berkata hari ini bahawa kedudukan Ronald Kiandee sebagai pengerusi PAC akan digantikan, tetapi akan terus memegang jawatan itu sehingga pengganti beliau ditemui.
Izzah yang angota PAC pon boleh letak jawatan kerana bercangah dengan prinsip PH. Why not chairman?
