Ia merupakan antara usaha bagi memberi dorongan dan semangat kepada lebih ramai pesakit kanser di negara ini untuk turut serta dalam aktiviti tersebut.Pink Unity turut berharap aktiviti-aktiviti seperti ini perlu melibatkan pesakit dan bekas pesakit kanser serta tenaga frontliners di Jabatan Radioterapi dan Onkologi, Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Program dimulakan dengan ucapan dan taklimat ringkas mengenai Pink Unity disampaikan oleh Lena Abdullah. Diikuti dengan penyerahan barangan pelitup muka, sabun dan skaf hasil kerja tangan daripada bekas pesakit kanser Pink Unity kepada staf dan juga pesakit kanser HKL. Program dihadiri oleh Dr Rosilawati Binti Jaudin , Dr Nor Asyura Binti Muhamad , Zahiruddin Bin Zulkifli dan Matron Maznah Turut hadir adalah ahli- ahli Exco Pink Unity diketuai Lena Abdullah, Lee Chooi Lan, YM Tengku Salmah, Hashimah Hassan Marcy & Noorzailawati serta wakil dari NCSM, Adeline Joseph.
