Naib Canselor Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia , Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman berpendapat kesediaan Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi , Datuk Sero Moham Khaled Nordin untuk meminda AUKU merupakan satu bentuk kepercayaan dan amanah yang perlu dipikul oleh mahasiswa.

“Menyedari bahawa mahasiswa adalah antara pemegang taruh yang penting terhadap pembinaan negara bangsa madani, tindakan kerajaan ini adalah tepat pada masa dan ketikanya,” katanya kepada Utusan Malaysia Dalam pada itu,beliau menyeru agar mahasiswa tidak menyentuh perkara yang boleh mengancam sensitiviti masyarakat seperti kontrak sosial, penghinaan terhadap mahkamah dan kedudukan raja-raja Melayu.
