Penyandang Pengerusi Majlis Pimpinan Negeri Sabah, Datuk Christina Liew berkata, pemilihan pimpinan PKR berakhir dengan persaingan yang mesra lawan.
Dalam pemilihan parti yang baharu berakhir, 19 daripada 25 cabang PKR di Sabah memilih Mohd. Rafizi Ramli sebagai Timbalan Presiden PKR. Enam cabang yang menyokong Saifuddin adalah Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Tenom, Pensiangan, Sandakan dan Tawau.Beliau memperoleh 883 undi berbanding pencabarnya, Steveelon Sait yang memperoleh 116 undi.
