Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Christina Liew tossing the yee sang dish with Sabah media practitioners in Kota Kinabalu today.
Liew, who is the also Sabah PH chairman, said this could only be avoided if every party – in the coalition as well as its allies – was united.“But I believe this is not something we cannot overcome. If every leader from each party is sincere in working and moving on together, I think we’ll be all right,” she said to reporters after hosting a Chinese New Year media luncheon here today.
“I told them in a democracy you need strong support from the people. But instead, they fight amongst themselves and divide the people… They are not going to win unless they change their ways,” he said. “I don’t agree . I think nothing beats unity – if PH, Upko and Warisan can move forward and work together, and we’re united, nobody can tell us we are not good for each other.
